There’s hardly a fearful flyer who doesn’t mention Turbulence as being one of their fears. Asking whether or not there will be turbulence on a flight is like asking asking a ship’s Captain if there are going to be any waves. On some occasions you can fly for hours and the air will be as smooth as a mill pond and on others it can be lumpy and bumpy. It all depends on so many factors but remember.
You don’t HIT turbulence you ENCOUNTER it.
Do up your seat belt as tightly as you can bear it.
It may be (extremely) uncomfortable BUT that is not the same as dangerous.
