I’ve been in the industry since 1961 but I didn’t realise what passengers pay for.
Aircraft taking off, landing, being parked, being moved, vehicles using the airport,loading vehicles,security charges, check in desks (by the half hour) and more and more. How do the airlines manage with such low fares?
What you mustn’t think is that the airlines cut back on safety …they don’t because the worst publicity they could ever gets an accident or the suspicion that they were cutting back on safety matters.
