Hi Keith, Just thought I'd send you a little note to say that i thought your fear of flying CD's are absolutely brilliant - Thank you for sending them to me before I went to San Fransisco. I listened to them day and night up to the flight and listened to them as we were taking off and any time I got apprehensive. I probably can recite a lot of them off by heart I've listened to them so much. Suffice to say I still don't enjoy flying (that would take a miracle!) but they did help immensely in that I knew what was happening and was better prepared to deal with turbulance and general noises that previously would simply have paniced me. I wouldn't say it was a completely 'fear-free' experience but overall the worst part of the flight was simply the uncomfortableness and I never thought I'd say that! Anyway i made it there and back in one piece and had a really good honeymoon! Big thanks, A

Thank you for the book it is great, very easy reading - was reading up to midnight last night boy I am tired today - am at work at the moment so am trying to read it between breaks will finish it tonight. Kind regards and thank you again. N.

Keith,

Thanks very much for your speedy response, I`m sure I will feel much safer when I fly next month. Your book has been a great help and I have told those family members and friends that are unsure about flying to buy your book and visit your website.

Thanks S.

Hi Keith,

Just purchased your book which is excellent. It has answered so many questions for me that have been in my head every time I’ve been on an aeroplane, I’m not a complete nervous wreck when I get on a plane but very apprehensive. I fly about 5 times a year and when asked if I have a fear of flying I always say no but I do have a fear of crashing!! Your book is really helpful and especially the coverage of turbulence which I hate, I have been through some pretty bad turbulence in recent flights and now sit there waiting for it to start.

My question is how does bad turbulence effect the structure of the plane does it add to metal fatigue and is it possible that parts could break off due to continually flying through it.

Thanks again for your book. Regards T

Answer:
T… this is the answer.
Bad turbulence will not add to metal fatigue, because aircraft parts are tested by ultrasonic or whatever testing devices to measure the presence of fatigue. IF discovered prevention and rectification methods are implemented.

I am not a metallurgist but I seem to remember from my schoolboy physics that it's only when you bend something too much that it suffers fatigue but even then that doesn't mean it'll break .
the Eiffel tower has been bending in the wind for a hundred years to ease the strains on the metal... so the fact that the wings bend doesn't mean they are being more stressed. In fact it is relieving the stress.

Wings are designed to be able to withstand forces far greater than they are likely to suffer in flight so they don't get stressed at the levels of turbulence that we experience.
So NO IT DOESN'T ADD TO METAL FATIGUE
and NO BITS WILL NOT FALL OFF
Hope this helps
Regards Keith

Dear Keith,

Unfortunately I will not be able to make the course on Saturday xxx. I am now having to work this weekend to be able to take time off for the trip to New York.I am feeling a lot calmer about flying and through positive thoughts and reading your book I know I am going to be able to do this.

Thanks
K I

Hi

Many thanks for the book, I have just flown back from Australia, had 8 flights in all and took the book with me. Due solely to your book my flights were great. My friends E and also K ordered a book from you and both have had great experiences flying because of it. My mother in law read mine and she was petrified but also had great flying experience over Xmas. Well done, the book is excellent Unfortunately for you though it is too good as now do not need to go on the course!

Many thanks H N

Morning Keith,

Yes I did and it was /is fantastic. I met a very nervous flyer in Tobago and passed the name of the book onto her with a few tips. Thank you so very much - it helped me no end - I can honestly say it was the easiest flight I have taken.

Best regards

Dear Keith

Thanks for the book it REALLY helped me on the flights to and from Bxxxxn -it was very cold there but very enjoyable.

Thank you again and hope that you received my cheque

regards

M.

Keith,

YES!!! without a doubt your book helped me with my problem. The only unfortunate part for you is that your book helped enough for me to want to take the step further and actually board a plane and take a flight, which I did via the 'flying without fear' course as this included a 45 min flight in an aeroplane. This of course meant not taking part in your course which doesn't include the flight!

With the knowledge I gained from your book and the confidence it gave me enabled me to step onto that aeroplane and actually fly for the first time in 20 years. I was amazed how confident and comfortable I felt during the flight.

I would also add that this came from the light hearted and relaxed way the book was written which, to me, set the scene for how a flight should be.I'm now keen to take a 'proper' flight which I'll hopefully do in the near future.

So, THANK YOU for your book and allowing me the opportunity to take one more step forward in facing my demons.

Regards

....I am 100% better when flying, I especially get comfort from knowing what the different noises are now during take off and mentally tick each one off as I hear it. I am still a little aprehensive for for about 10-15 minutes into journey but try and separate what I know is fact from what I am imagining in my head.

AMAZON REVIEW It's an excellent book. I think my wife will feel a lot more confident about flying, but the proof of the pudding.....

Hi Keith

Thank you for the book which arrived today - it is really informative and covers a lot of the things that bother me about flying.

Cheque will be in the post tomorrow.

Kind regards

Hello Keith,

It's a nice touch to receive a follow up contact.
I found the book very interesting and helpful. It certainly answered a great many of the questions I hadn't had answered anywhere else and it certainly educated me on what is involved in getting the "Ginormous Thing " airborne and down again. I like the style of presentation, it is written in a light hearted way yet it gets a very informative message across.

I wish I had read it before I paid for extensive Hypnotic Therapy!

Nice one.

Hello Keith,

Thank you, our honeymoon was fantastic..........12 hour flight to XXXX , but it was ok.......my husband was actually much more nervous than I was! He may be needing to go on a course, in which case I will probably attend with him .

You may remember me, in that I ordered your book a few weeks ago and it was temporarily lost in the post, but then turned up.

I've read the book, and although I've not flown since so I can't test my reaction, I found it very interesting and it did help to put my concerns into perspective, which should stand me in good stead next time.

Hi Keith

How kind of you to take such a personal interest in individual cases of flying phobia!

Actually, I have done two flights in June and whilst I still don't like it, I am considerably less fearful having read your book and also listened to a tape called Overcome Your Fear of Flying. The combination of these two elements seems to have transformed my situation from one of panic to one of nervousness.

Previously, I would take valium and large amounts of alcohol just to get onto a plane. I'm proud to say that I flew without anything other than the reassurance I have gained from your website and book - and of course, the tape.

I am due to fly again in July, so am hoping that each time will become easier and that I can move forward from nervousness to calm in due course.
