The new fear of flying on line course
Here are a few screen shots of the new on-line course which will be available soon.
Each time you sign in you’ll see your personal home page.
On this part of the page you will be able to set the top slider to show how you feel when you start the course. On the lower slider you can set how you are feeling as you sign out each time. It seems such an unimportant thing to show how someone is feeling but in fact it’s vital. So many fearful flyers think that they are making no progress but as we say everything is progress except giving up. It’s important to record your ‘feelings’ so that when you return to the course you are reminded of how well you have done, and the progress that you have made since you started.
Below this on the page you will see what you have set as your goal. If you have friends or family on the other side of the world or you need to take business trips or you want the holiday of a lifetime then each time you log in and out you’ll have that ‘goal’ showing to encourage you.
Each of the 100+ articles and features on the site has a button which you can click to show that you have found it useful. You can also add these articles to your library which gives you quick access to the things that are important to you. This means that when you are building your knowledge, support or confidence you can store all the articles that have helped you.
This panel will also show you how many articles, videos, and audios you have found useful as you have worked through the course. We will also show you any articles, videos, features or audios that we have added since you last logged in
The next panel will show your progress in the three main areas. We will monitor what you have been looking at and compare it with average number of things that people look at as they overcome their fear. So you’ll always know how you’re doing.
At the bottom of the page you’ll see a summary of everything you have put into your personal library. This means that when you sign on again you can go straight to where you left off rather than having to wonder what you were looking at last time.
This page is just part of the overall program. There are many features in the course that will help you to address your fear. The philosophy of the course is guided self learning. We’ll show you a general direction and you choose what you need to do to overcome your fear. There is no one-size-fits-all remedy to a fear of flying, so this course allows YOU to choose the things that YOU need to understand so that YOU can go flying without fear.
