I learned to fly in 1961 and became the youngest flying instructor in the UK at 21. For five years I was the Chief flying instructor at the Fairoaks Aero Club. I flew a Freighter aircraft before I joined British Airways in 1969, I have 20,000 hours flying experience. I am an examiner and instructor in human factors for pilots. Now I train pilots to become training and check pilots. I started the flying without fear website four years ago as a three page site...and now the biggest on the web with over 150 pages.
